We tried to build a home with JAC Homes and the planning process and experience was awful. The company has no attention to detail. I was told to "Trust the process" so many times but when it came to important decisions we were rushed and they did not follow their own process. We did not sign a contract and continue with our build as we had so many concerns with the company we did not want to loose any more money with them. They issued a contract when the details were not correct and it has be retracted. What was said in person rarely matched what was put in writing. We have site plans that do not have correct measurements on them and they changed our house placement on the block based upon a presumption we would not want a retaining wall, they could not bother to make a phone call to ask a question. We have a plan preparation agreement that contradicts a Tax Invoice they issued, they will not return money for reports that were not produced. They pretend to be a small builder but from what we saw, they are no different to any of the big builders, get your money and then do what they want. Communication is not good. The display centre in Murray Bridge is not complete and the workmanship is poor. I would not build a home with them.
