Always love coming here for gyoza and sashimi! Casual joint with a cool bar next door that has a fine selection of Japanese whisky.

Very authentic japanese food. I like their lunch bento, you get a number of choices of what you want in the bento box for $15. They are genuinely Japanese owned.

A run down restaurant and definitely needs to be renovated. Japanese staff seem a little confused with service and food being delivered promptly. Don't think I would come back as the food is rather ordinary.

Great place for hanging out with friends snacking on authentic japanese snacks and sake. It's best to come here with a japanese speaking friend because sometimes they have special dish that's written in japanese. I also noticed because my friend was speaking japanese, the waitress was more attentive and friendly toward us. The grilled ox tongue is a must have item.

Came on a busy day where there were alot of reservations but quickly managed to get a spot. Ordered a few entrees as they were cheap and a nice portion size to share. Received all orders quite quickly except for two dishes. We had to ask once where the food was and one dish came out quite quickly after that. The last dish we found after waiting a while wasn't even taken down when we ordered!!!

I went here a couple of days ago and the food and the service were good. It is good value for Japanese in the city and I thought the sushi was really nice.

a great place i have been going for years. it had a few issues a few years ago and it had dissappointed me, but i think there is new staff. Went there last month and it was excellent and will be going back this week

We used to go here regularly, but the quality & service steadily declined. The decor is old, but when the food is good, that's easily overlooked. The food can be good, but is often over-fried. The sashimi is fresh but other things are not as reliable. It's very cheap & authentic Japanese daily food.
