Great place for authentic, hearty and tasty ramen. My fave is the spicy pork ramen. The serving is generous and priced reasonably. The quality has been very consistent over the years and staffs are always friendly and helpful.
One of the better ramen serving restaurants in melbourne CBD. The ramen selection here is better than most. Tried the classic chashu ramen in miso broth. The flavour of the broth was well balanced. The noodles themselves were pretty much on the spot here - firm and not too soft. As well as being reasonably priced this is one of the better places for ramen.
Ito is certainly one of the stand out Japanese restaurants in Melbourne. It is authentic, well decorated and a pleasure to dine. The meals themselves are absolutely delicious, particularly the ramen, which is not only of amazing quality but of amazing value as well. Indeed, i laughed at my mate when he first took me there and told me i wouldn't be able to finish a bowl of soup. Needless to say, he hasn't let me forget that one.
Ramen selection was infinite! Very delicious and nicely served. The staff were hospitable and friendly. It was extremely busy, but it was certainly a nice place to dine. I would come again!
Ito's provided takeaway which was quick and efficient. I loved the choices of ramens. Service was quick and friendly, as we were in a rush. Otherwise, the sushi served as also delicious. I wouldn't mind coming again.
Whenever we go into town to see a band or just to go out for dinner, we always go to Ito's. Always friendly staff and my miso soup is always to die for. We recommend Ito's, if you're in the city and feel like Japanese.
Have been here for late night Ramen on a few occasions and came for lunch on a weekend. The Ramen is delicious especially with Miso base and Katsu Chicken.
The weekend lunch was superb, and it is lovely to watch the dedicated Sushi Chef at work. The quality of the Sushi was outstanding. It really was one of the better Sushi plates I've had in Melbourne. Yum

It used to be my favorite ramen place, went there last friday night for hot soup ramen (it was a cold night!). When I get my gekikara ramen, it is not as tasty as it used to be and very small portion. I hope when I go back next time it will be better.
Ito is a cosy Japanese eatery on the upper side of Bourke Street. It offers a standard array of noodle and rice dishes with a moderate selection of sushi and sashimi. The staff are courteous without being too friendly, while the dishes are of a reasonable size without being great value for money.
There are some specials regularly on offer which are worth taking up, such as a side of gyu tataki (raw beef) for a reduced price when a noodle dish is ordered.
While the general items on offer may be average, the green tea smoothie is a must.
Approximate cost: $15
