My son looked so cute idea n his photos. I absolutely love them all. It seems a lot of money to pay but its also worth it. The customer service was really nice and understanding. They are very flexible and nice. They have such a good vibe about them. I highly recommend. You won't be disappointed at all.

[redacted] Had my sons photos taken years ago and went to collect them and you had gone. Rang the number, was told we would we would have to go get them. Bit hard when I didn't have a car or licence back then. Not the best customer service at all and was a waste of money. Definitely don't recommend at all.

I'm only 19 and a first time mum so I was so excited when I saw these people in the shops offering a free shoot! The photographer and ladies working there were super nice. The day I was meant to go for the viewing of my photos and pick my free one and key ring I would be in Melbourne so we organised for a friend to pick them up. That day they called and started asking me what packs I wanted ect. ect. (I hadn't seen the photos yet) but she made me feel like I had to pick a pack right then and there while I was on the phone to them so I picked a pack ($1000) and handed over my card details and my friend signed on my behalf. Little did I know by doing that I could not change my mind and downgrade the package or cancel my order. I finally was sent a linked later that day (after I "signed" their contract ) to view my photos...my daughter isn't even smiling in one single picture I do not like any of the photos on top of that I realised I couldn't afford them anymore and needed to cancel. So I contacted them and was told I signed a contract! I was not allowed to cancel or downgrade my pack so they offered a re shoot and to lower the payments to $20 pw instead of $40 pw. As for the reshoot they aren't in my area at the moment and aren't sure when they will be back. So I asked the lady if I could get the payments postponed till I get my reshoot done (because why am I paying for something I don't even have) and I'm still not allowed that. So now I am paying $20 a week for nothing at the moment and don't even know when I can have my reshoot done and every week my last bit of money is going to them. I feel like a complete idiot like I've been taken advantage of as I was never told I couldn't change my pack or cancel. Would not recommend they are VERY miss leading. ☹️☹️

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I wanted to get the $500 package and that was it, husband wanted all photos so signed up for a $2000 package with my husband (in my name though) 6 months later husband leaves and stops making payments.. great! I called imagine that after missing a call from them and explained that I was now single and had been left with this bill and then agreed to pay 25 a fortnight. I was struggling so called a few months later explained i was struggling and asked if I could downgrade package and was told no. Over Christmas I missed a couple of payments a d was threatened with debt collectors which confused me to be honest as I've only received some basic prints so far and have payed well over 1500 of the 2000. [redacted] I would never recommend them to anybody.

Well the ladies that took the photos were so cool telling me that I would get a free photo and a key ring if I want a photo shoot of bubba. Also they ask me if I wanted a phone cover which is 30dollars but I would get it on the day I pick up the photos. A month later I went to pick up the photos and my phone cover and the lady told me that they post it all ready and I should get it the next day which I didn't. It's been 3weeks now and I'm still waiting for my phone cover I have called the company and the lady told me that it's still coming. Bad experience and I'm never going bk there. They won't tell us the exact price when the photos were taken and the quality was bad. [redacted inflammatory comment]

I was really happy with the girls from the photoshoot. They were really lovely and made my daughter smile so much. When picking up the photos the sales lady was very lovely until we said we would be purchasing photos individually and not in a package.
The cheapest package was $599. We only wanted 6 photos and spent $350. We still spent money with them so there was no need for the bad attitude. Also disappointing that the worse photo was our free one and that some of the nicest ones were printed as multiples size on one sheet. This included 3 thumbnail sized photos, which would be useless. All in all the photos we choose I am happy with. I understand the business mode is geared to get you to buy a package, which is fair enough. I would of just of preferred better customer service. No matter what commission your making, every customer should get the same customer experience.

What an awful experience!

I will start off by saying the girls working on promoting the shoots were lovely and the photographer was brilliant! They were so busy and my baby was a tad grumpy but they made it work. I was told to come back in 3 weeks for my free photo and if I wanted I could purchase any othes that is liked.

This is were the trouble started....

The sales team were awful! I work in sales myself so pretty hard to shock!

It was very busy so I could understand they were under stress, I was told they would be with me soon as they were serving a few other customers. All nice at the start and then VERY pushy and almost forcing customers to buy a package or at least some photos, especially people that didn't speak good English.

When it was my turn she put all the photos out infront of me and I was very impressed, they were gorgeous!

I was told the prices and felt very under stress by the way the ladies were speaking to me. I explained I needed my husband to come along as it was a big financial decision and could I make an appointment for the next day.

She snapped at me, telling me this was their last day and that the photos would be destroyed if i didn't take them.

I explained my husband was at work and was told she had other people to serve and in her word, I was 'wasting her time'

I also heard them slagging off people who had just walked away for not buying the photos.

Very unprofessional!

This was in Liverpool shopping centre in Sydney.

I just want to share my horrible experience so that less people will suffer the same pain with Imagine That Photography . I went to a shopping centre with my daughter and they said they could take a free photo shoot for her. The photo shoot only took about 15 mins!!! On the day we collect the photo, they only showed me the packages price which were so expensive. They did not tell me how much each photo was and I could buy only photo. I no choice but buy the whole package if I want the photos besides the free one. They wouldn't allow you to take the photos home if you don't pay a $200 deposit. They also required you to sign an agreement and photo copy your driver license. They did not give me the copy of the agreement I signed. They only gave me a receipt copy. When I got home, I just wanted to cancel because they were just so expensive and the photos were not really professionally done. My daughter's hair was even massy. So I called the other day and the lady said they will call me back to process it. They did call back but saying their company has no cancellation policy, without telling you the reason. I have never heard any company in Australia with no cancellation policy and even no cooling off period (they have never even mentioned that to me). I reckoned this company was very suspicious, so I cancelled my credit card. 4 months later, they called me and required me to update my payment detail with them. I refused to do so as I thought this was an unfair trading and they said they would send my case to the debt collection company if I refuse to update the payment detail on that day.

I really doubt how can a company like this do business in Australia. The way they do is more like trapping people. How can shopping centres still allow such a company doing business in the mall? I really doubt whether the agreement they asked me to sign was legal. And I am very shocked that so many people were trapped by them like me when I saw the comment and they are still doing business actively. I am not sure what will happen to me next, but I will definitely do all my best to let people know my horrible experience with ITP.

I had exact same horrible experience with this particular merchant with deal value of $1690. They do not have any idea about customer service or customer satisfaction what so ever. They do not care about their customer or even bother to work with their customer in order to meet the customer's needs. Instead, they just want to get you to sign the contract and that is it. After you signed the contract then they will not care about anything else. This is just wrong! How can you treat and trick your customer like that. where is the professional codes of conduct? Where is the work ethic here. I have lodged my complaint through Fair Trade NSW however, they refused to cancel or change the contract. Now i am thinking of take this matter further to the tribunal. As advised by the Fair Trade NSW, if they receives more and more complaints involving this merchant then they will start an investigation in regards to these allegations which could lead to the cancellation of licence to operate.

If you think the over price product, the "No Refund Policy" and the way they set you to the debt collector is all, you are definitely wrong. It is just the beginning. I have deal with this company almost a year and I can tell you it is just a horrible nightmare to me. Start from not notifying you about the "no refund policy" and let you sign an agreement only stating 'biding contract' (so biding contract = not refundable?) to they set their customers up to the debt collector, I have had enough with dealing with them. When the customer service team call you for payment, it is way ruder than the comment from them above. They do not care how you feel or what you say, according to them, you have to pay for the package because you signed the contract they set (no matter whether the contract is legal) and you took the photos away which you paid the $200 deposit for. Once you took the photo away, you will be suspicious of copying the photos, so as soon as you take the photo away, you are locked in and have no chance to change mind (Do Not Sign The Contract and Take The Photo Away!!!)

If you think I just pay the money and get the product and end the nightmare, you are wrong again. I paid the package in full in the mid of December 2016. According to them, my package will be delivered within 21 days. However, I did not receive any product until the end of January 2017. Finally, I received my products one day, but the most valuable frame was not delivered. They sent me a email advised me that the container carrying these frame was damaged by storm and asked me if I want to "upgrade" to other product (it is a downgrade from my opinion). I confirmed with them I do not want to "upgrade" asked about when can I receive the product. Of course, they did not answer my question as I expected, and only said they are expecting to receive the product in mid February and will ship it to their customers once they receive the product. I have a bad feeling of what they told me but I will wait and see if I can receive it by the end of February. I will keep my story updated and I hope you won't have the same nightmare as I have!
