IGA Broadford is your average supermarket, it's not as cheap or as great a service as Woolworths or Coles, but it's a local supermarket, it has it's fair share of low prices and it has friendly staff. Sometimes there aren't enough registers open and things can get quite busy; especially around 3:30 where kids finish school and go to the supermarket on their way home.
The quality of the products is quite good, although the fruit and vegetables may vary quite a bit, but the meat is nearly always of brilliant quality.

lately the quality has really gone down hill. the meat is very fatty and expensive. everything is a lot dearer than what it should be, and is evident when the items are forced to go on sale (to conform with the statewide iga specials) the price drops dramatically, sometimes to even more than half.
the produce is not the freshest, and quite often bast its used by date.
however on the up side, the girls, and guys, on the floor and registers are locals and very friendly and helpful, i have yet to hear them make a rude or snide comment, even when under pressure.
all things considered, it is the only supermarket in the area, so we have little option other than to shop here. for those of us who can get to a larger chain like coles, usually do.

this local supermarket has seen a change for the better in the last couple of years. Great quality meat and the fruit and veg is pretty good, better than the local fruit shop.
The staff a friendly, the shop and deli area clean. It can become a bit congested near the till area at busy times

the meat is always fresh and very good quality,very good weekly specials, compares well to bigger supermarkets.Shop is a bit small and sometimes crowded down the aisles

They have some great specials, the meat is always nice, never had any horrible meat from there. They have a good range for a little supermarket. Most of the staff are friendly. Service is good except during busy times like school pick ups.
