There's not much to say. It was the worst builder ever. It's been 3 years since they started to construct the house. By the time I write this review, it's still not completed.

One of the reasons we went with Hudson Homes, was they advertise "Fixed Price Guarantee".

Our experience so far has not been in-line with this statement, which heavily featured throughout their marketing materials.

We currently in the plans process while building with Hudson Homes and they are currently loading on additional costs (not upgrades). These were foreseeable costs that should have been included in the initial Tender including:

- Plumbing pegout because Sydney Water details were not available for our property - $900!!!

- Forced to upgrade insulation as required by BASIX (I find it hard to believe they weren't aware of the Basix Requirements as they have built in this Estate extensively).

- Forced to upgrade MPA grade of Slab because of salinity - this would have been ok, however the builder was well aware of the Salinity requirements at the Tender stage (so much so that they told us we needed to upgrade our slab to a H1 which we did, then all of sudden we are at the Engineer Report stage and they are acting surprised as if they didn't know the entire Estate was Salinity affected.)

- They then said, "oh by the way, we also had to purchase a bushfire protection report ( BAL), it cost $600, and you have to pay for it.

I'm now waiting for next excuse for them to load on more costs...

So much for "Fixed Price Guarantee", so far it's not looking to be true.
