I highly recommend Hoya's nursery and coffee shop. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The staff go above and beyond with their service...they are always very happy to help and lovely genuine people.
The nursery always has the best plants and the gift shop has beautiful merchandise.
The coffee shop has a tranquil atmosphere with the most beautiful friendly people here. The coffee and the food is yummy.

Have always driven past this place, this is the first time I stopped in! The plants are healthy and the gift shop has many options for all occasions! After browsing through, it is nice to relax and have a cup of coffee in their comfortable cafe.

This nursery is in poor shape - I was there last weekend and would not recommend them - the nursery has little choice and what is there is not good stock. They also provide poor service especially in follow up if you have problems with the purchases which are pretty high - meaning it is overpriced - shame with it being family run but it shows they lack the professionalism of larger nurseries.

Have passed this nursery quite a few times and decided one day I was going to pop in and have a look. Im really happy I did, the array of many different beautiful flowers and plants they had! one of the workers really helped me and gave me good advice on where and how I should have my plants, great customer service and the staff made me feel welcomed and not pressured to buy anything, the prices were pretty good too! defiantly recommend!

Having driven past the Hoya Garden Centre on many occasions I was quite excited to actually find the time to visit it. Whilst very large and salubrious looking from the outside, I have to admit that the garden section left much to be desired. For an establishment of such size the quantity and variety of plants was much less than anticipated and their general condition and health was less than pristine. Even in the shaded green house all of the plants and ferns looked like they needed a good drink.

The Home Decor section, however, was an absolute delight. Occupying an absolutely huge area its many and varied wares are delightfully and professionally displayed. Being a bit of a chicken fancier I was drawn to the numerous rooster decorations, most of which were finely crafted and painted works of iron. With the rooster prices starting at around $35.00 I have at least one pencilled in as a Christmas gift for myself. Unfortunately on the day of my visit my liquid assets were only sufficient for a $2.00 faux egg. My chooks have a habit of laying here, there and everywhere and need encouragement to lay in one spot. I'd encourage those interested to look at the decor page of the Plaza's website and see for themselves the diversity of items on offer. The page can be found at http://www.hoyagardenplaza.com/#!brisbane-garden-centre-gifts/c8hd.

Hoya Garden Plaza also has a cafe which offers a quite extensive breakfast and lunch menu. I've not yet eaten there so can't comment on the quality of the food or service.

I went to Hoya Garden Center Cafe on a weekday for lunch with a friend. We went to order our meals, & the staff informed us they couldn't prepare any meals because they had two groups there for lunch. They said the kitchen was too busy. We were looking forward to a good lunch but all that was offered was the cakes which required no cooking. It was my first time there & I will not be going back.

Met some friends there for lunch. The service and the meal was quick, efficient and delicious. It is set in a lovely garden setting and the staff aimed to please. It's only quite new so the plant selection is still small but well worth going to, for a look and maybe a coffee.

Approximate cost: $12.95
