First, the Fish is fresh, a good portion, battered and cooked so well.
Next is the cleanliness of the shop - very clean.

I've just moved into the area and I had to tell everyone about this place. Absolutely loved it, great chips, burgers are awesome and the misses loved the fish and the kids loved the crab sticks. You will not be disappointed.

The flavor of the meat in there Burgers is where its at ... You will not get a better tasting burger in Melbourne. I have been to the so called best from Andrews hamburgers in Port Melbourne to Danny's in Brunswick. You name it I have tried it. The Hook n Cook wins hands down.

great value for money, the food tasted amazing, chips are really yummy and the fish is really fresh. they also have salads which is great as most fish and chip shops dont, the greek salad was beautiful.
