Excellent client communication and service, friendly, professional and really knowledgeable trainers.
Remi and Clive (1yr Staffies) are covid puppies and were a real handful until we found Homestead Kennels and their training services. The kids spent 3 weeks doing the board and train program. We opted for extra home training and our home trainer Emily is magic; THE BEST❣️ Scott and Tanya are the owners of Homestead and we are so grateful to them and their wonderful team for helping myself and hubby and the Furkids. We also use their fanbloodytastic boarding resort

Have been using Homestead for years.
Both my dogs and cats love it and don't want to leave!
Very experienced, knowledgeable staff in all areas like pet behaviour/training, grooming, safety and health!

Rod has been grooming and training Diesel (American Staffy) for a number of years now. We are very happy with Homestead Kennels because our Diesel shows no signs of anixiety when he is left there. ToniaU

I have been coming to this kennel for many years, firstly with my shepherd, then with my two rotties, and now with my three terriers and I can say with confidence that all of my dogs loved coming here when I had to leave them, either for a short overnight, or for an extended holiday, my dogs enjoy their holidays. They enjoyed their individual playtime with the staff and I could relax and know that my special friends where in the experienced and excellent care of the very professional staff of Homestead Kennels. I have always found that I was encouraged to ring them any time during business hours if I had any concerns about my "friends" and I found the staff always familiar with my dogs and fully aware of any medical conditions they may be carrying at the particular visit. I usually use this kennel 4 -6 times per year, and I have never had any issues with my dogs health on their return. On the contrary, my dogs have always been handed back to me with clean and glossing fun and wagging tails. I would not hesitate to recommend this kennel to any of my friends.

My Labrador Lala is a regular long-term boarder at Homestead Kennels. Lala usually spends 2-3 months at time
at Homestead due to my overseas work commitments. For every stay Lala is picked up by the Pet Taxi, she knows
when the van arrives and is always excited to jump in straight away. When she is delivered home by the pet taxi
she is always clean, always very happy and in excellent condition. The pet taxi service is always on time, which is
good for me because I sometimes have a plane to catch. Thank you Homestead for making my overseas business
trips a little bit easier for knowing my Lala is being well looked after.

I recently boarded my spoilt little Cavoodle Buffy at Homestead Kennels. I was reluctant to send my dog to a boarding kennel, but I was recommended to go Homestead Kennels by several of my friends who send their pets to Homestead and they assured me their pets have a great time. During my holiday I made several phone calls to Homestead, who was always happy to take my call and reassure me that Buffy was having a good time, she was eating well and enjoying her playtimes. When I collected Buffy after three weeks of being away from her I was greeted with a very excitable ball of energy. She was not in any way distressed, she looked healthy and most importantly she was happy. Thank you to the team at Homestead Kennels for looking after my darling girl!

We put our dog into these kennels as a last resort, even though I had read some bad reviews I chose to ignore them in hope that they were wrong. Well, they were right.... the reception area smelt so bad I felt ill, seriously... how hard is it to mop some floors and put some deoderisers around? Although the staff member who was friendly, I dont feel like there was any personalised service at all. They have gold, silver and bronze packages but you know what.... all animals should receive the same treatment! I doubt he even got a run around or the "|quality" food they promised. He was starving and thirsty when he walked in the door... poor lil man. Definitely wont be going there again. :(

We had a very disappointing experience with our dog and cat in a recent stay. Not all may have been the business's fault, although failing to say hello to our animals at the reception area did make me wonder how much they really cared. Our dog (supposedly receiving the 'gold class' level of care) came home with no collar or council tag (I'm told it was chewed beyond saving, when playing with the other dog he was apparently penned with), significant weight loss, gastro, and matts in his coat. I don't believe that he had a bath before coming home. Our cat became extremely sick and spent five days in hospital, coming home two days after we did. This may or may not have been a reflection of the care she received, but I strongly urge anyone considering using this business to visit first and make your own assessment.
