Yum yum. First time I had the hogs breath long slow cooked steaks and it was an experience.... This particular hogs breath is in amongst an avenue of restaurants which makes the feel of the restuarant exciting! The booths are so comfortable...really enjoyed my experience here.

we cannot go past hogsbreath for steak. my husband has steak everywhere we go and it never compares to hogsbreath and hogsbreath is always cheaper. i always order the steak with an avacado & hollondaise sauce on top its beautiful. the only thing is the vegies are always undercooked but the steak & curly fries more than make up for it.
always super quick service even if there are no tables free it never takes long to be seated and eating.

Had lunch there today - the $9.90 special - chicken ceaser wrap. Comes with a side salad garnish and curly fries. Pleasant and prompt service from staff. Meal freshly cooked and came out hot. Vert tasty dish, and more filling than I had anticipated. Very clean premises. Will eat there again.

I haven't been impressed with this Hogs Breath. I've been here twice now and both times weren't satisfactory and I felt disgruntled when it came to paying the very high bill. The steak wasn't cooked to my request and I got a very bad iced of meat. The waitress was hopeless and I felt like she was hiding from me after I complained about the steak. There really is no value here and the restaurant atmosphere is lacking, unlike other hogs breath cafes

The price is a abit steep for the steak. The waiting time to be served is also quite unbearable. We waited 45mins for 2 steaks on our wedding anniversary. Also, they asked you if you would like certain type of sauce without giving you a heads-up they are not complimentary. Having waiting such a long time, they steak turned out to be delicious.

Have eaten here a few times now and have been happy with the service,and quality every time. Steaks cooked perfectly, veggies always nice and fresh and crunchy. Waiters are friendly and food comes out, quickly. Tonight we were surprised when the bill came to find that kids eat free on a Monday night... bonus!

The staff are friendly and the slow cooked steaks taste very tender however their is a large amount of fat present, also the other meals eg. burgers come with small portions of fries and minimal salad

I have been here a number of times now (not my choice!), and have been disappointed with the service and quality of food (especially for the amount you are paying).

I ordered a medium steak which was delivered very well done (charcoal on top and bottom, fully cooked/tough inside). I asked for another steak, this time medium, and had the SAME steak delivered back to me with absolutely no difference. I was very annoyed as this steak cost me approx. $30. As I was with a large group, I did not pursue the issue but vowed never to eat there again!

Other issues I have faced are:
under-cooked (bleeding!) steak when I asked for medium
having to pay for sauce and receiving not even enough to cover my steak
cheesy annoying waitresses

Fine dining this isn't, but I actually love this place. The food is always consistently good. I'm a casual employee close-by, & don't get much time for lunch, & I'm not a salad or sandwich kinda gal. So when I do get called in to work I just call these lovely people, & they always have my meal ready on arrival, so I can actually relax & enjoy my break & don't go back to work with indigestion. So big, big thumbs up from me!!

It's always noisy, so it's not great if you want to have a conversation. Their service is very inconsistent and usually less than great - we've been forgotten, been ignored, had waiters who refused to look at us, and food dropped on our table and chairs. The food is nice, but not worth the hassle.
