Hidden away but a delight of its own right. A must see for book fans and those on a journey of enlightenment.

This little bookshop tucked away in Salamanca Square is a favourite place to visit on a Sunday morning after brunch! They have a huge range and some unique specialised books. Lots of books on Tasmania which is great for visitors.

Staff are friendly and helpful and prices are resonable.

I visit this bookshop each time I visit Hobart because I can always find something out of the ordinary. It has the best range of books about Tasmania, a good second-hand section, and helpful friendly staff.

Approximate cost: $50

This littel bookshop is tucked away behind Salamanca and opens onto a big sunny square (if you're there in summer!!). They stock new releases, Tasmanian specialty books, lots of quirky things on the shelves by the ramp, and also have a big selection of secondhand books. Look in the boxes under the tables too because as someone in there said "They come from other people's libraries, and if you like one thing they had, you might like lots more" And I did.
