I'm going cross-eyed from staring at our beautiful photos!!! I'm so in love with them, Cesar and I are very happy, he's thinking I'm a little obsessed right now as I can barely put them down. I just wanted to say thank you for being so very easy to work with on the day, I hardly felt your presence, yet there's not a moment that you missed.

Im from Sydney Australia and to me photography is important on my big day, but I didnt want to break the bank. I was looking for a photographer with up front costs (I didnt want to pay per picture like some others are doing) and I wanted my whole wedding covered, as well as print outs and raw files, and out takes. So I googled Sydney photographer prices and uped poped Hilary Cam. We had a meeting and the rest is history. My wedding is 17 days away, but am so happy with my prewedding and I am so happy with the choice I made, so much so I am writing it here. Even though he is a fraction of the price of what my cousins paid for their photographer it is still a lot of money to us, and to find someone with the skills of a seasoned photography studio team I am simply over the moon. Why I am so impressed? Firstly, he is well organised. Now, when I say I grilled the guy on my meeting is an understatement. Being from a graphic design background I know my files, setup, and most importantly what can go wrong. No one wants to hear sorry your files were corrupted or the flash card was stolen/lost He has a 3 stage backup, one of them being uploaded on the cloud thing, your pictures once taken are safe. Then we got into the nitty gritty, show me your post production files which he told me no one was really interested to see, but was happy to tell me all the techniques he used and how he solved certain issues. This is where I saw Hilary shine, its easy to put a filter on something but to make a picture timeless, I was swooned. A dark church that doesnt allow flash looks like it was taken on a normal sunny day in his post production. The small details of making sure your flowers appear the same colour throughout the day with all photos regardless of environment, but look 100% natural. It wasnt just post production that impressed, it was how he sets up his shoots. I have a house that is a little funny color- how can we take photos? He showed me this wedding where the house had red carpet and was just a normal house really. He found an old fence outside that was a little rustic and peely and took the BM MOH photos there, they came up truly vintage. (he also arrives early to find these pockets of areas for location photos, because you know, not everyone lives in a castle) Timing, he takes the time to talk to you about the day, set up a time sheet (runsheet) to the point where I felt he could of just planned my wedding for me (His partner and him should really do wedding planning because there ideas, suggestions and where to buy certain items. Blah. Lets just say there wedding knowledge is amazing) Personality- passionate about what he does, and so is his partner. They put in the effort. They style your shoot and try to give you your theme. Anyhoo, I could probably write 10 more pages about why this guy and his partner are the best thing since sliced bread but I just want to say this guy captures my moments perfectly. Nothing but praise.

Hilary Cam was our wedding photographer 3 years ago and did an amazing job, we were so very happy with the quality of his photographs. We recently asked him to take some extended family photos which included 8 adults, 2 teenagers, 6 kids and 1 baby and Hilary not only took amazing photos but was so patient with a group of people that hate getting their photo taken. He was fabulous with the kids getting some great relaxed shots of them and did a wonderful job getting everyone looking good in the group shots. His photos shoots are also very reasonable priced. I would highly recommend Hilary to everyone for wedding or casuals shots he is very enthusiastic, professional and has some great ideas and really knows how to make people feel relaxed in front of the camera to get some great photos.

Hilary is a very special photographer. He did an unbelievable job and we love the quality of the photos and were really impressed at the time that was spent planning and styling our photo shoot. He supplied the props, decorations and lighting and created an outdoor studio and the results are amazing. He made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and kept making us laugh. Hilary Cam was fantastic, I highly recommend his work.

My partner and I wanted some special photos to send to the family. We came to him with an idea and Hilary was pretty much a genius behind the camera and made everything not only happen but made it excactly how we wanted it. I will definately come back to him when we get married! Thank you Hilary!

Hilary Cam is an absolutely fantastic photographer!!! My sister and I got our portraits taken and the photos look like they are straight out of a magazine. He was so much fun and I am amazed at how well they turned out. We had photos taken through a studio a few years ago, with Hilary we got ALL our photos on disc, we paid half the price and the shots are a million times better. Best value, don't go to a studio go to Hilary Cam!!!!
