Students are trained by excellent teachers . The results I have experienced are fantastic. I highly recommend Headmasters in Toorak.

Been to the Headmasters in Toorak twice. It's a great experience for a cut and blow for $25-35! Prepare to sit there for a little while as the student cuts and calls on the tutor to help out. Great value and love my cuts.

Approximate cost: $25

My overall experience at Headmasters academy unfortunately i must say that it wasn t that pleasant.
I would say with a few words that they were unorganised and frustrating.

I ve decided to continue my hairdressing skills there and gain a certificate IV in hairdressing thinking that i would learn more things on hairdressing. I was a fasttrack student and not an apprentice there.

In the first couple of months things weren't as bad there. After that though things were going from worse to worst. We were thrown into a certificate III class which leaded to the teacher not to have enough time to go around and check on you. Things were running really slow and it was really frustrating. Later on we didn't even have a certificate IV teacher all the days we were there so we couldn't do our work cause of that. I personally finished our colour book all by myself cause there was never time to do that with my teacher.

Some of the students end up leaving the class and some others end up taking some time off saying to them that they would return when a class was put back on for just certificate IV students as we were said from the beginning and paid for. After a couple of months I know that some of the students there were considering of asking the money back . On top of that students that took longer to finish were asked to pay more.

My personal experience was that things were running really slow there and at the end of the day for what I paid I didn t really learn much. If you wanted something you would have to chace them around and hope for the best. Really frustrating and I m really glad that I m out of there. This is just me. I don't know how things are for the certificate III students and the job potential but better do a better search around before you go there. Plus its been a couple of months since I finished and I still havent received my certificate which I asked for and they said it would be done in 10 days. So yeh….good luck! REALLY UNORGANISED!

The messages I leave on the answering machine are rarely returned so it is difficult to get in here. The students often talk amongst themselves during treatment about non treatment related things so are not particularly professional. The treatment area for the pedicure was very spartan. Would return if I was desperate and couldn't get in elsewhere.

Headmasters are a good option if you do not want to pay a lot of money for hairdressing - of course the end result will be how good the particular student is - so it can be a bit risky, bit generally I have had a good experience there.
