Nice for a casual drink. Nothing special. It gets busy early on so bear that in mind. They have a good selection of drink specials and the meals here look really good too

Not a bad lace for a drink. Popped in for a jug of cider to share and it was great value. Only about $12. Gets busy so get in there early to get a seat or you'll be standing all night

3 weeks ago i stayed in a hotel for 4nights,i went to haymarket hotel as i was recommended by my hotel,i stopped for lunch it had great meals at great prices especially in town u cant find meals under $10,in had the steak with fries i asked for it well done which they did it was tasty,theres upstairs and downstairs staff friendly drinks cheap at lunch time i went again while i stayed in haymarket

Went in to get some lunch here on a Friday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised to see they have a $10 lunch special Mon - fri. And was even more pleased with the quality of the food. I got battered barramundi and chips and it was delicious. My partner got the steak which was ordered med/rare which came out more medium - still however said it was delicious. The bar man was really friendly and very helpful with giving us a table downstairs to accommodate the pram - even though this area is not usually for food.
Was amazed at the cheapness of drinks, you can get a jug of Tiger beer for $10 !
Relaxed atmosphere, beautiful décor.

I wouldn't recommend this place. I came here for a few drinks and the service was terrible. The staff look like they're constantly annoyed and it really ruins your good night out. Although the food and drinks are of decent quality, that's not enough to make up for the poor service.
