I recently wanted a new PVR to replace the Topfield PVR that I had for app 14 yrs which had failed.
I couldn’t make up,my mind between a Humax Device and a slave unit to allow a second TV to share the Humax and a Fetch Mighty and a Fetch Mini. I decided on the Humax as it was cheaper. The sales lady suggested to take the Humax home and try it and if it was too complicated to program to bring it back fir a swap on the Fetch. This happened to be the case. I returned the Humax next day in saleable condition and it was swapped together with a cash difference and I took the Fetch system home, it is so much more user friendly
Very Happy with the Product, The Harvey Norman Service and the pricing especially since the Fetch dropped $50:00 in price overnight.
Thanks Harvey Norman Loganholme (Qld)

Approximate cost: $500

I would only shop there if I couldn't find the product anywhere else. I had a shocking experience with the customer service there on a few occasions after a some larger purchases.

Made many purchases here. They like to really sell their products but as long as you go in with you mind set on what you want then it's all good.

Staff were a little hard to find for help. When I did find someone, they were reasonably knowledgeable. The range at this shop does seem less than at other stores and the shop may need to be reconfigured so it flows - less obstacles and more organisation.

i purchased a "customised" corner lounge from here and was told delivery would be 12 weeks from order. Eventually after many phone call enquiries and 9 months of waiting, my goods finally arrived. I had to remain home during easter to accept delivery otherwise I was expected to pay for another delivery but I should be happy it's finally here right? NOT AT ALL - The colour was wrong as well as the configuration which meant it wouldn't fit in the room the way it was meant to. So we were given $1000 off the price and removed a wall so it would fit as we are unable to change the configuration. 8 months down the track, our $5000 lounge has broken on the frame and one of the recliner cables (made of steel) has frayed apart even though it's only been used maybe 10 times in total (at least we took out the warranty option which covers this). The cushions have never stayed in place on the sofa bed and has always felt as if you're sinking when you sit on these cushions. I cant wait to get rid of this (at a loss i'm sure) and getting something decent. I will never purchase anything from Harvey Norman that I cannot take with me that day.

Approximate cost: $5000

The lack of service at Harvey Norman is disgusting. As a single woman, I am ignored when I go into Harvey Norman - however a couple or a man who come into the store after I do, are attended to by the staff.
