I've been here twice now and its not somewhere I would choose to go back unless invited to a dinner. The location is really nice as is the setting. The food is also very nice and fresh. Last time I went there, there was a bit of a wait to be served but nothing unreasonable. The down side though is the price - it's expensive and the serves can be quite small (not very filling). It's nice for a special occasion but too expensive for other times.

We often eat here for date nights or friend's birthdays! Food and service is always on point and being by the water the ambience is stunning! Last time I had the beef and it was superb!

we went here to celebrate a friends birthday & i would definately return again. the staff are really nice & place is spotless. most of us ordered their seafood platter but they have a wide selection of tasmanian seafood to choose from. They are open for lunch & dinner so the next day we returned for lunch & ate fish & chips outside.

This place was recommended for seafood so while visiting we decided to give Hallam's a try and it sure didn't disappoint. We had a variety of dishes but the seafood platter was by far the best. On the platter, you receive a large selection including oysters, smoked salmon, muscles, king prawns, a few types of fish, which we had grilled and crumbed and perfectly cooked calamari. A place I would return to on another visit although not too regularly if I was a local due to the price.

Approximate cost: $30-$65

This is a great place to eat if your looking for fresh seafood, the fish and chips we had here were just lovely, good quality food, friendly staff and a all round great atmosphere!

Very delicious fresh Tasmanian seafood meals - but cost is pretty high. Also, side dishes are sold separately. Lovely setting and interior. They are licensed, and open 7 days for lunch & dinner. They offer takeaways, and have outdoor seating, so a preferred option if the weather allows it. They are in the Entertainment Book, which helps to receive a discount if you want to try a good seafood restaurant if you would not normally do it.

Approximate cost: $35-

Seafood was very tasty and could not be faulted. Unfortunately though it is way to pricey given the serving sizes and the fact that side dishes are separate and cost extra again (the pictures on their website are not anywhere near what we got) and the other tables serving looked worse (like a kids meal). Wine was also expensive. Nice location, nice interior. Given that they have a takeaway section go for that instead and BYO some wine, there are plenty of places to sit outside in the park on a sunny day. Loose all the expensive and pointless glitter and let the food speak for itself your wallet will thank you!

Approximate cost: $35-40
