They are absolutely brilliant. It is highly evident in the way they treat their clients with genuine care that they take the time to truly comprehend what each client's individual hair needs are. Sarkis is very informative and thoughtful and it’s clear that he has many years of experience. Being 21 weeks pregnant, they specifically used non-ammonia based products that are much gentler for me (and bub!). I also got the best head massage I’ve had in so long therefore it was a perfect way to spend an evening after a stressful week. Everyone in the salon was absolutely lovely and sweet. I walked out a happy customer with far healthier looking hair. What a great find. I will definitely come back again :)

I had been going to another high-end hairdresser in the Parramatta area for some years. After a bad experience there, I decided to try to find an alternative. The reviews on line made me think that Hair by Phd might be worth a try. After my first appointment with the brilliant and delightful Louise, I was totally hooked. Nothing was too much trouble and she gave me the best cut and the best colour I have ever had. The salon has a wonderful energy - friendly, relaxed, and totally professional. I have definitely found my new hairdresser!

Wow I am really blown away and don't know here to begin. let me start by saying I am a very fussy and specific client when it comes to hair color. I came in with brassy hair from an expensive dye job that i had done at another salon. I was very hesitant to get my hair done again as I didn't want to waste any more money. I was also told by another nearby salon that nothing could be done to fix my hair. My stylist had an excellent consult with me and understood why I hated my hair. The end result of what we did was gorgeous. It was an amazing pink-red rose hair color that really stood out in a crowd. People have told me they can't stop staring at it and that it is very beautiful. It really is a color I haven't yet seen before. Most places, when you ask for red-pink hair will make you look like an emo punk teenager. The color I had looked very vivid and vibrant, yet elegant and romantic. Also their schwarzkopf colors smell amazing. The service was amazng, my stylist even did my hair free of charge and she got me out in time because I was in a rush. I have been to many salons, both cheap and expensive and have not been happy. The prices here are very reasonable for the result you get.

If you want attention to your request, great service, feel valued customer, and most of all great hair then, look no further...This is by far the best hair salon in town. Since being in Australia, Sarkis and Louise have been the only hairdressers to curl my hair without any problem.... Since then, my son and 2 girls love getting their hair done there too.

Having lived in the area for many years I have walked passed this hair salon many times.

I also wanted a fringe for many years, though having naturally curly hair I thought it was never possible, I've asked many other hairdressers and they advised me not to get a fringe due to many reasons.

My initial phone call to the salon was really comforting, I felt at ease talking to Sarkis.

I was so excited that I made a appointment to get a fringe, when I got there I was seated and waited for the hairdresser to talk to me about my hair, she said it was possible and proceeded with a keratin treatment for my new fringe, the care she toke in handling my unruly, dry hair was truly appreciated, she was really good with explaining what was coming up next.

I really love the length of my fringe and how straight it is too.
The fringe shapes my face so well and I have already been told I look so young with it.

My fringe is so straight I cannot stop touching it, I love it, love it, love it.

To this day I have not had a chance to straighten it with the straightener as I pretty much get up a go, I still don't own a hair dryer either, I just wash it apply keratin smoother and go and it's straight I love it.

I am really happy with it, the girls were friendly, they sent me a Birthday message and really made feel welcome.
