WORST PET STORE AND RUDE OWNER!!
Bought a Corydora two days ago from this pet store and they sold me a fish that is sick, I tired to call them the next day after purchasing and they would not answer the phone, my mum went instore today and they were rude and would not do anything about the fish, I then called them and was put onto jody ( The owner ), I told her that I had tried to call the day before and she snapped back and said thats I had not called ( I asked her if she wanted my call history for proof but she didn't want it) the owner then started saying that they had a policy that you had to bring a water from your tank and they have to test it before they will do anything about it, even though every other fish in my tank is perfectly healthy, including other corys. ( The water parameters are fine and the tank is filtered, heated and the fish was acclimated), and then the owner told me to, quote: "get common sense" and hung up the phone on me twice. My mum also asked if she wanted to see a video of the fish whilst she was instore but the owner obviously didn't have the intention of resolving the issue.

The fish may have only cost $8 but the point is they are selling fish that should not be sold and they won't take responsibility for it.

First off, they told my children off in the store for touching things. (they were doing no harm just looking) I once purchased a baby oscar of them, when i got it home and i could see it properly under my light it was covered in white spot. I could not get back to the shop until the next week to buy medication and in that week, it had infected my other fish, and it had died. Im not very happy with their service or quality, but considering its the only pet shop in gympie (that i know of) I dont have much choice but to shop there. Just be aware and thoroughly check your animals before purchase.

They supply local delivery on large items purchased for a very minimal fee & will source items for you if they dont have it in stock. The live pets they have available for sale are of good quality & are taken care of properly while in the store which personally for me is very important. Overall gympie Pet supplies is a great store.
