Love this cafe! Love the food! The service is next to none, they are so friendly! Thank you Grub Street!

Great friendly staff, seemed interested in me as a person rather than me as someone with some cash to spend. Coffee wasn't bad, well made but not my favourite type of blend. Would definitely go back. :)

This great little cafe has been around for a while now but keeps delivering great breakfasts and lunch. It can get quite busy at lunch time with the Army crowd but their is still adequate seating and space to enjoy yourself. They have a great range of sandwiches and dishes and revolving specials. The chefs do a great job from a small kitchen and also have a number of preserves and jars to choose from to take home.

Grub Street is only a 5 minute drive from where I live so I had high hopes when I tried it for the first time on the weekend. It's a small cafe (only seats 18 I think) so I wasn't surprised when we had to wait - which I honestly don't mind doing. We got a seat on a little table by itself in the empty area beside the cafe, a little odd but completely fine. My french toast with figs, hazlenut icecream and coulis was a little underwhelming the coulis was very thin and clear) but filling. My boyfriend mistakenly ordered the wrong thing, we were explained the specials by one person and our order was taken by another. Nonetheless, he enjoyed it. The thing I liked best was the berry smoothie we got, it was yum. Coffee was pretty good.

Will come back to try something else I think, maybe after I've tried a few more places!

Fantastic foods and very reasonable prices. If you get the chance, I would definitely recommend the bacon and egg burger. Makes me feel good to know they use free-range bacon too.

Don't let the shabby exterior trick you - this place sells healthy, interesting food. Reasonable prices and it's surprisingly quiet inside, given that it is on a main road.
