My husband and two friends went here for a relaxing afternoon loved loved loved the views and the modern decor it was cold and windy outside onn this particular day but warm and inviting inside .We shared a tasting plate which was yummy and ordered a few cocktails they were nice but quite expencive then we tried some of the tasting sample there spirits were lovely. Overall it was a nice experience the only down aspect was that we had to keep chasing up the staff .

The place looks quite posh and is decorated in a funky, modernistic style. We were quite excited at trying some of their spirits after being lured in by the signs outside. We were all ready to have a tasting, a meal and a cocktail, but sadly, none of that eventuated.
Therefore, I can only rate on service, as we were basically ignored. The one staff member on duty that we could see had someone at the counter who seemed to be "important". We were told (and I mean told, not hello or anything) to "go look at the back shelf", which had all of their highly priced bottles of drinks, and we were bluntly told in the same "greeting" - "it's $10 for a tasting". We had a quick look at the prices, decided that we would need to try them if we were to pay that much per bottle, but subsequently were completely ignored for the next 10 minutes while we waited, waited at the counter while they talked, and suddenly walked outside and took this person out the back for a tour of the distillery. After still no acknowledgement, anyone to serve, or any subsequent service from any other staff (not that we could see any), we left, a litle shocked at how we were treated. We obviously weren't important enough, and we were the only other people there (this was a Sunday afternoon). We were very disappointed.

We went to the distillery with family on holiday. The distillery staff were good for the cafe but my brother wanted to try some alcohol and got ignored (probably due to his young age). He was not happy with this service.

Whoa!! what an establishment. From the moment you enter you know you are surrounded by oppulance. The decor is very modern yet cosy and the views of Frenchman Bay are priceless. Their own whisky is a class act, a little bit pricey but worth every penny! They also produce a smooth grappe for those that want something just that little bit stronger. Other products also include Vodka, Gin and their own Brandy. Their menu is superb as well with their must try salt & pepper squid caught locally but get in early cause they sell out pretty quick!

Approximate cost: $15.00
