great place to have a few drinks after work or before going out with friends. the whole atmospher inside gold dust is lovely, always a friendly face to great you and some great people to chat with. there cocktails are fantastic as well as a little strange, something different

very good atmosphere, interesting array of different cocktails and drinks to try, good entertainment, a great place to go for a semi quiet night out with friends. if you are looking for somewhere to go just to get drunk this is not the place for you

I'm 23 years old and I much prefer Gold Dust over any other club in Bendigo. They have live music and the atmosphere is fantastic, feels like an old blues club from the 20s and I call it the blast from the past. LOVE IT!

Gold Dust is located in the basement. Take the stair entrance in Williamson St. Been here a couple of times during Bendigo Heritage Uncorked and loved the space & the atmosphere. Great little bar with nice staff.

We were hoping it would be a quiet, classy spot to have a couple of after-dinner drinks, since it's hidden in the basement and rumoured to have a more mature clientele. However, the live entertainment did not quite match the image of the lounge and we found them a bit too noisy for such a cramped space - the sound echoed a lot. Our group could not talk to each other and were forced to watch the rather underwhelming performance. The dance floor was far too small & other customers kept spilling drinks onto the floor, making it almost dangerous to walk on. The music lasted a bit too long - over half an hour before there was a break. We left anyway, feeling disappointed and with our ears still ringing.

I found the cocktails were a little watered down, not very strong.

Service here is average, waiters could be rude and bar staff were impatient despite it not being very busy when we approached.

Overall a nice enough place, prices are reasonable. Might come again on a quieter night.

Gold Dust Lounge is in the basement area of the Shamrock Hotel. It's a bit classier than say a sports bar or a pub and is ideal for having a few quiet drinks with friends. They also have regular live entertainment.

This business is located under the shamrock building and offers a great lounge for the middle aged group to gather. Plenty of room and good atmosphere, highly recommend
