the coffee was quite good, service was quick and staff were friendly enough. would have been better if the staff hadn't been talking about a potential staff member who came in for a trial in front of customers. not very professional

Awesome store with very friendly workers. Coffee is always five star and am served with minimal wait. Even tho i am not a weekly customer they still remember me and my order wich really impresses me. Their slices and cakes are fresh and moist. The restaurant is always clean and tables cleared regularly. Always get my coffee here when in town. Awesome job guys!

I wanted to let people know how wonderfully friendly the staff are at this Gloria Jeans, they take the time to get to know all of their regular customers by first name. They often have mums with prams come in and young children and this is never a problem for the staff even offering to get me a free babycino after I had placed my order because my 2yr old decided he wanted one.
Some customers who are special and additional needs often frequent this cafe when I am there and the staff are always friendly, go out of their way to help these customers and have incredible patience.
On several occasions I have seen people, including myself, spill drinks and the staff happily replace them. Also both of my boys have different allergies and they are wonderful at helping me choose the best products even remembering one of my orders should be on soy not normal milk for my eldest boy.
AND last but definitely not LEAST they make absolutely wonderful coffee! It is always fresh, great tasting and made quickly even when they are exceptionally busy.

Helpful and friendly service, I had the barista confused and they made the wrong coffee, they were very happy to replace it and upgrade to a larger size for the inconvience. Highly recommended

This Gloria Jeans outlet is one of the best in the newcastle area. great coffee, great service with a friendly smile, and the staff are willing to go out of their way to accommodate most requests. the food is a bit bland, however, the cheesecake tasted a bit like glue.

The staff are friendly and courteous and the drinks and pastries are delicious! We frequent the premises at Waratah so often that the staff know us by name.
