i do not reccommend these people who have harrassed me since taking over management of the property i have rented for 11yrs! they tried to make me sign an updated agreement after i had already signed for another year. they put the rent up and are constantly issuing me with form 11 breech notices because of exisiting bamboo which is the owners responsibility. i have reported them to QCAT and NRAS and will continue to publicly document their harrassment. i have a signed agreement and they have done constant property inspections and the bamboo has never been brought up until we noticed the bamboo coming from the neighbours who had planted some on the fenceline. when we informed them they tried to use this as an excuse saying we let the place get overgrown. theres a law that states bamboo is a tree and the owner of the tree is responsible for whats on top and whats below the ground. i will stand my ground. this has been stressful because i have been having active treatment for cancer. i want to stay in this house because its close to the hospital and i attend university as well. its def not a great house it has no air con its old and cold during winter and theres large lawns that have to be mowed. the extra stress is not good for my recovery from ongoing cancer treatment.

Gijay Estate is a company I would advise to stay far away from. There team is full of untrustworthy, manipulative and bitter people. We had a huge sink hole under the support beam appear which they did nothing about. The roof leaked because of rust holes. Nothing was done to to fix this... I do not recommend this business to anyone.

Do not trust GiJay estate agents. They are untrustworthy and have no integrity. Expect to loose your bond. Expect hidden costs. Expect to need help from RTA. I would advise to avoid these agents at all costs.
