The classic canteen style eatery. Gianni's feels like a old school workers canteen. There is a substantive selection of hot and cold food options, viewable from the counter. Filled bread rolls, soups, salads, cooked meats etc. it is not a particularly gourmet eatery, but it is very affordable, of acceptable quality and very quick

This place always has a crowd and something for every palate. The star for me is the chicken parmigiana which is a huge serving with chips & salad & there are always plenty of tables to choose from.

I tried this place as it was recommended to me. I ordered Chicken Parmigiana with salad to takeaway. I was very disappointed, it was the worst both Parmigiana and side salad I have ever had. Sandwiches might be alright but I haven't bothered going back to try.
