I had a ceiling that required some minor repairs so I organised Gavin to come around to give me a quote which he did and I was happy with his quote. He came back the following week to start on the ceiling. When he came out he did nothing but complain about how time consuming it was and he normally wouldn't waste his time on such fiddly jobs. I was totally shocked with his attitude and to make matters worse after he completed the ceiling he then handed me a square sanding block to give to my painters to sand down because he said it would cost extra for him to come back to sand the ceiling. I don't understand why he wasn't upfront about everything when he came out to quote me I never forced him to take on the job. Anyway I was greatful that the painters were happy to sand back the ceiling and they used an electric sander and it took them 45 minutes to get the ceiling smooth. I wouldn't recommend Gavin unless you are happy to sand back the plastering yourself.
