Very expensive place to shop for fruit and veg. Take for example one avocado $5.99 each.

Not your best value for money place, but certainly a good niche shop where you can find some fresh yeast (I have never seen it elsewhere), occasional great bargains on fruit & vegies and the random Italian delicacy, although highly priced.

Fruity Capers is a very good fruit store that sells the freshest fruits. I think it is better than going to Coles because it's fruits are better quality and sometimes cheaper. The staff are not that helpful they are just at the counter of restocking tables and shelves. Overall I think it is a good fruit shop and you get what you pay for.

Fruity Capers used to be the fruit store for the Inner Western Suburbs. Not exactly cheap, but great value, excellent produce, excellent service, and owners that truly loved the business. They made you wnat to buy their produce and, of course, I did.
It was sold to new owners about 4 years ago, and the quality has certainly gone down. It's just a green grocer now.
Now and then, their prices are good, but rarely do I find myself going there instead of, my default, the Coles supermarket in the same complex.
It used to be vibrant and constantly buzzing with people and helpful staff.
If a greengrocer can be described as having spark, Fruity Capers' has left the building.

This is a small greengrocers in Toowong towers. They always have some good specials out front, but other then they are a bit more pricey. There produce is always really good quality though and you know it will keep well and taste great

Fantastic fresh produce. Huge range, can get things that you can't normally find at smaller places or supermarkets (such as huge range of chillies, Jerusalem artichokes, etc)
A little bit more expensive than supermarket but the quality & range far outweighs that in my opinion

The best fruit and vegtables you can get, it is a bit on the expensive side but worth the money.

I've been shopping there for a while. The old lady who works in the morning during the weekdays has such different attitudes based on the races. She's rude and unhelpful to all Asian customers there. Every time I go there, she would mumble something, never look up to face the customer, speak at her lowest voice possible, and throw changes in my hand. I find that very offensive and insulting. For someone who works in the customer service industry, this kind of behaviour is simply unacceptable and unprofessional. I would like to make an official complaint about this and collect further evidence and publish them online. I'll produce fliers and organize rallies to boycott the place, if things don't improve.

Always great produce, friendly service and the ability to taste made available whenever possible. I never buy fruit and vegetables from the supermarket anymore. Good opening hours. EFTPOS at all checkouts. Organic produce available. It may not seem as cheap as the supermarket but you get what you pay for.

a bit pricey in my opinion. but it's always crowded so there must be a reason for customers going back. i like when they give samples of fruits though. they have a huge variety of fruit and veggies.
