With limited personal transport having a local grocery store is great. Both the Lobethal and Woodside Foodland are located in their relevant main streets. The Woodside location feels a little dirtier...but I think its mostly due to less lighting. Unless you need something specialized (eg. egg whites) they have everything you would expect from a small town grocery store. Very convenient trading hrs (closes at 8pm) so is perfect for shopping after work or picking up a forgotten ingredient. Small business/country town prices most of the time but occasionally there will be great specials that beat even the big guys (managed to get a large 6pk of crumpets for under $2).

Awesome meat products at a great price. However some of the more everyday items are more expensive or not there. But to be expected from a country type store.

Some of their food is not as fresh as it should be. Their vegetables do not last long after purchase and are of poor quality. Their bulk goods are very much out of date and unfortunately don't have a 'Use-by' date on them. However they should. They are very old!!! However, for a small supermaket they have a good range and their opening hours are very convenient.
