Fonda in the city is their biggest restaurant. Food is delicious and service is fast and friendly. I highly recommend their salads and also their cocktails. <3

Great tasting Mexican food and nice cocktail list. Atmosphere is also nice and casual. Be warned that portions are small so if you're looking for good value this is probably not the place you're after.

The food was ok, abit pricey but the service was good for a busy Saturday night. I would try again.

MMM love Fonda. I recommend the fish burrito and also the cocktails. They are not bad price wise and delicious

The city venue can be a little disappointing at times...
The food is in general the same as the other locations - mexican with a bit of everything from nachos, to meats to salads. The menu is well considered and the food which arrives is decent in terms of serving sizes and quality. Think above average fast food.
The last time i went though, they must have had a slow/quiet night, as they had packed up the entire place, despite it being still 1.5 hours before the advertised close (kitchen close) time. Slightly disappointing, as they would have started packing up 2 hours before close.

surprisingly given the tiny portions they do fill you up quite nicely! also their mocktails are the best

The best traditional Mexican in Melbourne!! This outlet is much bigger than the previous two and central for those inner city. Food is of quality & super tasty. They take bookings for tables of +10 otherwise walk in service. The $$ is probably on the higher side but you pay for what you get. Highly recommended & eat there often.

Same as the Fonda in Richmond and Prahran. Only much more convenient in Flinders Ln, for those of us who live in other parts of Melbourne. The same great food and atmosphere. It is also a much larger place, so no need to worry about space - there is lots of it.
