Popped in there, while I was down at the Brickworks shopping and enjoyed a most welcome cup of coffee which I enjoyed. The cafe is in an indoor, outdoor setting and the atmosphere is very pleasant.The coffee and cake cost around eight dollars fifty and the cakes were home made. They also do breakfast and lunches The service too was good.

Walking towards the centre we could smell the aroma which enticed us in. We were repeatedly told it was table service and to take a seat when we were perusing the menu to see if it had anything that was appealing. We eventually sat at a table which was clean however the glasses on the table were filthy. The table was set for four persons but there was only 1 fork, 4 napkins, 3 knives of which the waitress placed the only fork next to my knife. After pointing out the dirty glasses they were taken and replaced with supposedly clean glasses which were also dirty this happened three times before we were given clean glasses. The food was tasteless - the club sandwich was disappointing and the worst I have had and it was accompanied by what the menu described as fat chips the plate consisted of 4 chips at a cost of $17.50 the plate it was served on was also dirty. The Pork Roll which also came with chips was a round bun with some shredded pork and coleslaw which was also bland in taste and there wasn't much on it. It was also served with dijon mustard and 4 fat chips for $18.00
Hot Chocolate - lets just call it warm milk with marshmallows served on the side because there was no chocolate taste.
Coffee was ok have had better. The water was chlorinated not chilled. Atmosphere of cafe was good with colour schemes and music softly playing. Staff were friendly but run off their feet.
This was mentioned to Management about the experience and was subsequently offered an italian biscuit and not charged for the coffee and hot chocolate. Probably would not return due to cleanliness and over pricing for what you are served.
