I used a deal voucher with my partner for Flame.
As we were celebrating our anniversary I asked the waitress if we could have a table around the outside of the restaurant, but were told that all the tables were already booked, we were there for over an hour and not one of them was ever taken.
While the maître d' did make sure we always had topped up glasses of water, we found the maître d' to be patronising and fake. However putting this aside, the food certainly made up to any issues we had with the staff!
My partner and I both ordered the calamari for entrée which was fresh and tender, and the dressing was delicious.
For mains we got grilled chicken and scotch fillet which were absolutely perfect. We both agree they were the best pieces of meat we've ever had!
We will definitely go back for the food

Its a modern looking restaurant and the staff very quick to take the orders. My steak was cooks perfectly, the way I asked. Very tender and a nice serving. Overall, one of the best steakhouses in Melbourne
