Very glad I stopped here for a meal on the go. Flake was lovely - hot and juicy. Tasted so fresh and cooked very nicely. Price was good too - 2 flake and chips was $17 and this was for very generous servings and a decent sized portion of fish. There's a few to choose from in this take away spot along Blackburn Rd - pizza, noodles and a bakery but I'm happy I chose Flake Attack and would certainly come here again. Some on street parking right out the front and it's in a service road so no busy traffic to worry about - think it's called Pinewood shopping centre.

They have the best potato cakes, and the pineapple fritters are really really good.
The fish is always fresh - I've never had a bad experience.

The chips are the crispiest, tastiest you'll find in the eastern suburbs. The prices - unbeatable. Flake and chips for under 5$ anyone? After I ate here, I've not eaten fish and chips anywhere else since (about a year now).

Approximate cost: $7
