Nothing is fresh, all fish is frozen. Burgers are bought in bulk pre made patty mince. Staff are friendly when they are new, not many last. Chips are bought according to cost, $4 will get you about 30....

Imported fish, too much batter on everything - they do give a lot for the money.

Approximate cost: $25

Fish was very average; salad served with it didn't match fish at all - beetroot, pineapple - urgh. Huge servings. Wouldn't bother going back.

Everything is bigger at fishnets.

The burgers are about the size of your head and portions are enormous.

The only down side is that they tend to under cook a few things.

The bacon is always under cooked.
The onions are never brown
The eggs whites are never fully solid.
And i feel that when i politely ask for them to cook it through they take offence to it.

But other then that, everything is awesome.

Maybe I just struck Fishnets on a bad day but the 3 packages of fish and chips I bought were unanimously panned by the people I bought them for who each had a few bites and wouldn't eat the rest. It was a Saturday lunchtime when I entered the store and there was quite a queue, and about a 20 minute wait for my order to be cooked. I didn't have a problem with that, thinking at least it wouldn't be precooked. However, when I got home with the fish and chips, the chips were way undercooked (i.e. like snow white mashed potato, not in the least bit brown or crunchy at all) and the fish was quite hard as though it had seen better days. We all threw most of our meals out. Go to Belmore Basin or North Wollongong kiosk - they both do way better fish and chips.

Approximate cost: $8 fish and chips

The biggest burgers you will ever eat and its not substituting quality because they taste great. Try the Mamoth if you dare. Its big enough to feed 10.

Approximate cost: $9

The best fish and chip shop in the area.

The burgers are big enough to cut in half and feed 2 people and they taste good too.

Very reasonably priced.

It is a bit slow in service, but perhaps that is because they are so busy all the time.

The food is good if you are willing to grow old waiting. If you are hungry for fish and chips and are willing to give fishnets a try make sure that you aren't hungry when you leave the house and when you get your food you will be. the service was poor
