I can vouch for the chunky chips and lightly battered flake. Best I've had anywhere in ages! Friendly service, too.

This fish and chip shop is situated along Spring Street strip of shops with ample street parking. Sure the place needs a face lift but in all fairness its a take away business to grab a snack or meal on the run. A few chairs are scattered inside the shop so you can sit down whilst your order is cooked.

I stopped here today for a naughty snack ... yes i love dim sims and potatoe cakes hahahahaha. I found them to be okay nothing particularly special.

the potatoe cake was huge! i mean double the size of a regular one, but the potatoe was soooo thinly cut and the rest of light batter.

prices on the menu board was very cheap, $5 for flake and dim sims and potatoe cakes were 90 cents each.

the lady who served me was polite, greeted me with a smile which is nice and she promptly cooked my order and even asked if i wanted salt .... (some people do not ask they just sprinkle salt on your food!)

okay place ... nothing flash .. but passable
