Booked inspection of rental property on the day property advertised. I booked 1st available inspection time after being directed to booking site. Received text message advertising an alternative booking on the day before my booking. I elected to stay with confirmed booking. Received text night before booking asking me to confirm attendance (confirmed). Received email and text on morning of inspection day cancelling booking and directing me to booking site to select new booking. Rang agent to be told that the property was let. Told that they had had many enquiries. When I pointed out that originally I had booked the 1st available viewing of the property they attempted to claim that wasn't the case - that they had had viewings on the preceding 2 days. What I suspect they do is take the 1st application received because they can't be bothered doing all the checks. Lazy!
