10 reviews about Firefly Tapas And Wine Bar

I had dinner here with my parents and boyfriend last night and it was fantastic! It was half-price pizzas so we got 2 chorizo/potato pizzas, and a side of haloumi with capsicum dip. The food was incredible. We even had half a pizza left over. The waiters were attentive, friendly and fun - my mum dropped a knife by accident and they had a replacement one within seconds without us even asking. We had a fantastic meal for 4 for less than $50 (including drinks!) and will definitely be back.

Approximate cost: $50.00

It was great. Everything came out really fast. Almost too fast! Enjoyed the food and wine at Firefly.Great setting, great service, and outstanding food! Highly recommended

Food quality overall was just average. There are not too many for food. Staff were friendly though which is a plus for the restaurant. Restaurant seems a bit small or probably there were just too many people that time. May or may not go again.

The food is pretty good, but there really isn't enough range. And also, the staff tend to be a bit forgetful, but they are still nice and friendly

We went there on a weekday about 8pm and I'm amazed at the sudden drop in noise levels as the families with young children leave. With bare brick walls and closed large glass windows, the place can get quite noisy. We ordered zucchini fries tossed in zaatar served with aioli to start. A little soggy but were good. A triple cheese, mushroom and truffle oil pizza came next, nice thin base oozing with cheese and mushrooms, fantastic. Next was veal meatballs in a tomato sauce with a splash of balsamic served with two wedges of soy and linseed bread. Overall food is great washed down with a glass of wine but it was let down by the serving staff, it took a while to get one of them. At the end when we asked for the bill we were told to pay at the counter while the table next to us had the bill at the table.

This place is great and very atmospheric, especially with kids. The special pizza deals are definitely worthwhile if you are there at the right time late afternoon ... yummo!

Approximate cost: $10

The service was non-existent, the foods was severly over priced and the ambience was non-existent. I would never dine there again. The restaurant sends out high expectations but none are realised.

Approximate cost: $20

The food here is great. I haven't tried the tapas yet but I have tried 2 different pizzas (the chicken one and the chorizo one) which were both fantastic as well as the gnocchi and the roast beetroot salad. The staff are lovely though service can be slow at times.

Approximate cost: $20
