The hotel itself is very nice. Open, bright and clean. The beer garden/courtyard is also clean and lots of solid wooden tables and chairs to sit at.
My companion and I had meals in the bistro, which is not the best quality, or best taste but as far as pub food goes is good value for money.
I suspect the hotel is focusing on attracting young people and locals with the sports bar and bands, but their demographic are much more likely to be families, and older people.

great family hotel with a great bistro as well and good cheap kids meals for the younger ones have eaten here a few times now and have alway found this venue quiet plesent great friendly service and never a real long wait for your order very neat and classy place that has had a lot of work done to it always a very enjoyable atmosphere as well great family hotel to dine in while visiting swan hill cheers thank you

the best thing about this place is the service and friendly staff as soon as we walked in the place you felt welcomed and they were very good with children...the meals were lovely too ,looking forward to going back there again oneday

Nice cheap menu and the food was good also I tried the Thai green curry it was lovely not too hot so it burnt your mouth my son had a kids parmigiana it was too big for him to eat so I got half,service was good ,child friendly place too

This is a family friendly hotel located just over the Swan Hill Bridge in Murray Downs, has a bistro and bar and the meals are very good including their childrens menu at $7 a meal.
I always get the garlic prawns while my husband swears by their 400g rump steak served with garlic butter he says its the best steak in Victoria, my son's a bit old for the kids meals so he gets the parma. Bit more expensive than most but worth it. Family owned and operated the owners are welcoming and friendly. Great hotel to dine at
