The staff are friendly and there is a wide array of produce on offer as with all fresh foods you must be selective when shopping some produce just doesn't keep. However they source most of their produce from local growers and there appears to be none imported so supporting local business means supporting local growers in this case and they do always try to have amazing weekly specials and never miss the mark with savings.

The Farmer Lou's team are wonderful, it's great they have a store on both South and Grafton side.
They have awesome specials on, if you want to try save some money get all the veggies you can from them!
Some things you can get cheaper at Bilo, Coles and Woolies, but it is good to see what's on special where and work out where you want to do, but do recommend getting as much as you can from them.
It's super fresh, well looked after and majority of the time nice and cheap!
They also stock lots of different sorts of fresh herbs, different local cheeses, yogurts, all different sorts of local made things.

Highly recommend them :)

Buy local, support a small business, get beautiful fruit and vegies and it's win, win win!! The quality is great and prices very competitive. Not to mention their weekly specials, and I'm not talking about old and damaged goods, but fresh, in season stuff at amazing prices. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to help, service is excellent. They even offer home deliveries locally (for the token price of $3), and online shopping. Website http://farmerlous.com.au. Come and check them out!!

I have returned to Shopping at this shop since they changed from Farmer Charlies to Farmer Lou's. The value is usually quite good, but I still only buy the specials and what is reasonably priced. The milk price is very good at the moment with a 2 litre of milk for $1.99. Bread is cheap too at $1.09 a load. Great value for money.

Approximate cost: $any
