Very pretty place with great atmosphere! The downstairs had a very sultry feel, think dim lighting, candles and tassles! Upstairs is all about fresh air and take grass, perfect for a summer's evening.

I have visited here a couple of times for company farewells. The bar is a good size and the shoesteinf fries are nice although very heavily salted.

Bar service can be slow for a bar this size but that us a function of its popularity. It is not as bad as many others.

Atmosphere is relaxed and as a venue it is ok but I think there are better around.

Been here a few time. Service has been consistently good. Can get quite warm on hot days, not sure if they own air con. Try the red hummingbird if you're a fruity cocktail person as it's brilliant.

I love the interior of Emerald Peacock - it's very chic and has a lot of seats. Love the rooftop bar, but it fills up quite quickly. Around 8-10pm on a Friday it can get extremely crowded (which make sense), but the bar service is horrendous during this time. My friend and I were standing smack bang at the front for 20 mins waving at the bartenders, waiting for them to serve us! (We stopped short of jumping up and down!) And unfortunately there was only 2 bartenders I could see actually serving people. I'd still go back to this place, but they need to consider having another staff member serving people during the busy hours.

We only has the cocktails - but they were brilliant. Works of art and they tasted amazing also. Easily some of the best cocktails I have had, ever, and at about $10 each - exceptionally good value.

The atmosphere (rooftop bar) was beautiful and such a great crowd. Downstairs, the decor was stylish and as crass as this may sound, the bathrooms were fastastic also. Whoever their decorator was, they did a wonderful job.

personal favourite. ticks all the boxes of what a great bar should be. stunning french style decor and feel to it, classy but not pretentious at all and a good, more professional crowd. highlight is their rooftop bar and its view (skyscrapers i know, but we are in melbourne), perfect for after work drinks or chilling with mates.
