if you're passing through the area and its lunch time or you're feeling a bit peckish, definitely stop here. The food is quite nice and the staff are great. They have your usual take away foods as well. I rather enjoy the dim sims.

An average Fish & Chippery. The chips are lovely and crisp, the fish comes with a crisp and non oily batter but the potato cakes always taste foul.

I'm not sure what the problem is but to me (though my husband disagrees) the potato cakes taste as if the potato is rancid. I won't order potato cakes from there.

It's ok but I choose others in the area rather than coming here.

Just average fish and chips here, nothing special, which is a shame for Emerald. We could do with some high quality fish & chips and/or takeaways. We don't have fish & chips often so when we do we prefer a more pleasurable outcome and in desperation have to drive at least 20 minutes to get something of better quality.
