Just went into Ellis butcher mcclaren vale the lady that served me was so rude looked extremely disinterested never again horrible experience

I just needed some country sausages for our upcoming bbq and as usual was able to purchase them here, they are the best by far, so full of delicious flavour. A little expensive but they are of high quality and have won awards. Staff are always pleasant and helpful, many delicious meaty choices on offer.

I cannot just walk by this butcher without having a look inside to see if there is anything or new. My family really enjoy their sausages and lamb chop, very high quality meat. Many marinades and sauces to choose from and prices are affordable.

I was after some of their country sausages and kebabs, real quality meat, prices are a bit high but you get what you pay for.

My all time favourite butcher, cannot walk by without purchasing their country sausages. We tried their steak and lamb chops this time and wow, such excellent quality meat, so tender. This butcher is quite large and also sells many various sauces and marinades, we tried the Jack Daniels sauce - it was delicious.
They have a specials board out the front so make sure you check it out, there is always a great special.

After our afternoon in McLaren Vale it was decided that sausages needed to be purchased for dinner.Popped into here and purchased tasty beef sausages and will buy more from here next time we are nearby. Nice meal after our "out and about"

Whenever we are planning a bbq I always have to pay them a visit. There products are of such a high quality, a little pricey, but you certainly get what you pay for. Their rissoles, kebabs, snaggs, chops and steak are fabulous. I usually checkout their marinades and sauces in case there is something new for me to try. Always friendly staff.

I was headed for Coles when I noticed a specials sign out the front of the butcher, Lamb Country sausages only $4.95kg, how could I resist, I entered and purchased 2kg. We had some of them that night, honestly, the best sausages we have ever had. No wonder they won a couple of awards for them. When not on special they are $10.95, i still think they are worth it at that price.

This is an outstanding butcher, real quality meat products at reasonable prices. Staff are always friendly and great with offering meal suggestions.
