This restaurant is great!! I had my 21st here with my family and we had our own little private dining area :) the staff were fantastic at organising enough entrees for everyone to share and getting all meals out quickly! The restaurant definitely made my 21st a great night so thank you :)

So romantic surreal and superb. We often sit by the fire enjoy a quite drink before ordering a meal. The wild duck rissoto is to die for . The meals are very large servings. The view is amazing. The service is amazing and they pricing is really good too

I am a repeat diner there, so they must be doing something right! I hasten to add that I have no association with the restaurant other than as a satisfied customer. I have never had a poor meal, which are always satisfying in taste and quantity- none of this artistic nonsense so prevalent today of a few sticks of carrot julienne arranged in a pattern and a small piece of meat or fish drizzled/patterned with gravy or sauce that after you have finished eating has you thinking, "That was supposed to be a meal?" If I want to see works of art, I'll go to an art gallery. Prices are comparable to pubs and the menu has good variety.

The menu isn't really my thing with lots of big fatty options, I ended up ordered duck tapas and a side of veggies. When we arrived we were seated at a small waiting table before being moved to our booked table when it was ready. The atmosphere was bubbly and vibrant and there was some live music which was a nice touch. From our table we could look out of big windows onto a lovely view of trees. Drinks were ordered and arrived promptly, however our mains took about 40 minutes to arrive and every one started complaining a bit because they were hungry and impatient. When they did arrive there was an apology for the delay, however in the interim we were not attended to and asked if we would like a starter to tide us over. For dessert I had a sticky date pudding (which did arrive promptly) which you can't go wrong with but I've had nicer ones. My friend had a Banoffe pie which tasted like an under ripe banana.
At the end of the evening they let us split the bill but we had to tally it up ourselves. Overall I was a bit disappointed with the service as it was slow and not very attentive. It was also really loud and hard to hear people and we had a really cold fan blowing on us. The best thing about this place is the bubbly vibe, view and music.
Some meals available- chicken kiev, duck tapas, pizzas, kangaroo, sides: greek salad, bowl of veggies, potato mash

Approximate cost: $25.00

It has a nice atmosphere, the food was pretty good, my rissotto was well made and all of us enjoyed our meal. It is a nice place to meet with friends for lunch.

Approximate cost: $25

The ambiance is lovely, especially on a cold winter night. The food is nice but definitely overpriced. Steak with onions rings was tender, husband's risotto was really oily and he was disappointed. Sticky date pudding was excellent.
It's a nice place and is close to home but it's definitely more expensive than what I'd like to pay for this quality of food which makes this a place which we rarely visit.

Approximate cost: $28 - $33 per main

We had a family dinner recently and did enjoy ourselves. Service was good and when asked if they could bring one meal out asap they certainly did, with time to finish that meal without rushing (I gave them an extra Service star for that one!). 2 of the family members were not over the moon with their meal but everyone else was very happy. I had the salmon and it was fantastic. My husband had the goose and felt it was extremely sparse on the plate. Desserts were average although their sticky date pudding is always excellent. In conclusion, staff are friendly, the general ambience is above average, although the food is just average and slightly overpriced. I would still recommend the restaurant, although they are lucky there is no competition nearby.

This is a reasonable place to eat but it is nothing special. If you can't be bothered driving to Olinda or some other destination that has much better restaurants then it is OK, but not a place that I would recommend for a special occasion. The table next to the fire is nice in winter!

Great meeting place with mum and sister. Warm welcome by the waiter. Despite price being high, but the food came out beautifully! Salt n pepper squid was cooked just right. Veg pizza was simple looking but delish, and the risotto balls was a perfect balance for a light meal.
Great views and just lovely place to catch up with girlfriend or family. Nice and cosy with plenty of comfy seats..I was told that this place does great private functions with a dance floor!!
