Really nice food! So glad they got a new chef because years ago they served me the worst chicken/fish I'd tasted. Been back 3 times now and apart from the wait in line at times and the noisiness around, the food is great! I recommend it!

Great place to go have a punt, play some pool, have a few drinks or even a nice family dinner.. Offers a variety of great food & drinks at fair prices. With seperate TAB, Bar & Bistro area, its a great place to go for any occasion. Love it there!

Four of us went for a Wednesday evening meal. 3 had various blackboard specials while the 4th had a scotch fillet. My meal was a breast of chicken which was stuffed with Virginian ham and Jarlsberg cheese. This was then wrapped in filo pastry and served on a bed of mashed potato surrounded by carrots, broccoli and cauliflower which was covered in a garlic cheese sauce. Presentation was also 1st class. This meal rates as good as any I have ever had. The other 2 specials selected was grilled Barramundie on a bed of chips and a mango salad, bothe people who had this were extremely impressed. The Scotch fillet was cooked as requested and served with vegtables and a mushroom sauce. The person who had this was also very satisfied. The staff were friendly and helpful and though we probably held them up from closing on time they did not appear to be concerned. To the owners of the Eaton tavern - lovely venue - look after the staff (bar waiters and of course the chef) as they all worth coming back for.

Enjoyed our meal there with the kids. Their kids menu is very unique as it is on a colouring picture for the kids to do while waiting for the meal very good idea.
