I certainly WOULD NOT recommend this restaurant. Recently brought special friends for yum cha. The service was so bad and the food not much better. I was totally embarrassed. The manager was so arrogant and condescending. Never again Mien Gilbert

Good clean decor. Great parking in Norwood. Good yum cha variety. Food slightly above average. "Service" below average, the manager is the worse, it sounds like he treats everyone with equal disdain. Very chaotic busy Sunday yum cha.

So... My parents went there with some people and they said it was good. Hence, I had some time and thought I would try it out. It was packed when we got there, so that's usually a good sign and there were PLENTY of Asians too, which is even better!
However, upon being seated, the service was sloppy at best and the food was very mediocre. The only saving grace was that it's cheaper compared to another place we usually frequent.

By the way, the mango pancake doesn't really taste that much like mango. More dough than anything. And what's with the chocolate sauce???

Came here with my partner on the weekend for Yum Cha.. Service was appalling.. We had to ask for sauce 3 times before it came. We asked for the the menu to order food because the food trolley took ages to come around. First staff said they didn't have a menu. There was only one helpful staff there that I had to give credit for.
The food was average at best. They didn't even have congee which was one of the basics dishes.
Will definitely not be going there again.

went there last Friday night to celebrate a friend's birthday. The restaurant is quite big and the interior is good. One little down side is that some china on our table are chipped.
We ordered Peking Duck, Spring Rolls, a Hot & Sour Soup and King Prawn Dumpling as entrée. A Hot & Sour Soup, Sliced Pork with Seasonal Vegetables, Crispy Skin Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Stir Fried Lamb and Eggplant with Minced Pork Hot Pot as main and shared.
The Crispy Skin Chicken was my absolute favourite. The Hot & Sour Soup was nice too. The Eggplant Hot Pot was a big too sweet for my liking but others liked it.
It was a good night overall

Approximate cost: $17

I come here when I want YUMCHA, it is always busy on a sunday, so make sure you have a boooking. even with a booking, you may have to wait another 10-15 minutes. I love the food here, it is authentic Cantonese yum cha food, and not many places in adelaide do authentic cantonese food. The service is however appalling. the main waiter never smiles, doesn't hello you, and is rude. some of the other waitresses push the carts into your chair and ask you get up from your chair to make way for their cart!! They need to pick up on the service...

Very authentic Chinese yum cha food. Dishes are steamy and freshly cooked. The menu is large with a wide variety of different asian specialties. i especially love the desserts there, coconut pudding and mango pudding. the prices are a bit expensive though and the place is always packed its so hard to find a seat, and also the place is very very loud like most asian restaurants, therefore i wouldnt recommend going there for a quiet /romantic date out, probably more suitable for a family casual outing.

Nothing special about the food that comes out of the kitchen. Although it's located conveniently I wouldn't even think of going back because of the poor service and poor quality of food. The yum cha is plain, and although there is a lot to choose from, most of the basics weren't cooked well.
