This is the only Chinese restaurant my family is happy with. We tend to get take-away rather than eat at the restaurant. We've had Chinese food from another restaurant in the Glen Waverley area which tended to leave us with an upset stomach. Haven't had this problem with East Empress. Pretty happy with East Empress, good Chinese food.

East Empress is my number one all time favourite restaurant. Ever since I was really young we have been going there to eat. The food is delicious and never too oily and the service is also impeccable. The interior gives a classy feel especially because of the tinted windows. It always leaves one feeling upper class

Eat here both for business and pleasure and always my guests comment what a great place for food and service. The host Jason always makes a point of going around to tables to make sure everyone has had a great night.

The venue is delightful, the service impeccable, the food divine! Plenty of waiters who were unobtrusive and also had a laugh with us. We had a banquet and the dishes came at just the right speed, there was plenty in each serving and it was all delicious. I'm a bit past Chinese food because after Thai and Malaysian it can be a bit bland, but if you choose carefully, you can get some nice spicy dishes. All in all a fabulous dining experience.

The East Empress is as the name suggests: the Empress of food from the East. Look, the food is really great - I mean very good - but you will be paying for it. Still, I recommend this place when you afford to spend some cash.

The food at East Empress Restaurant is a bit dearer than other places in the area. However, the food and entrees are delicious - much fabulous for a night out. The prices of wine is a bit dear also, but fantastic for a special occasion. If you enjoy chinese food, the ambience is very elegant and I'd suggest you visit it!

I absolutely love to eat at this place. Eating here always leaves me satisfied. The surrounding is also elegant yet simple. The people are also always on their feet and ready to serve you.

This place is awesome for some fabulous Chinese food. The service is seriously wonderful for an outer suburbs dining experiance with a very extensive wine list. A little dearer than many places but for a special occasion place is the best.

For special occasions, you can't go past the East Empress. The quality of the food and the high level of service make this a really great night out.

Everytime I dine here the service is excellent. This is the best Chinese Restaurant I have ever eaten in (and I'm very fussy with Chinese food). The food is delicious. The restaurant is always busy, it is very popular.
