I have been coming here for years and I will continue when visiting Albany as the food is always something to remember. The prices are reasonable and the serving are a great size.

Dylan's has got to be my favorite Cafe in Albs. Good location, fair bit of history, friendly staff, food is awesome and the choc milkshake with malt is brilliant!

I really like dylans but last time i went i ordered a chicken burger the meal was huge but the burger was pretty average i would have liked more salad on it the chips that came with it were yummy.I really like the look of the place its lovely with the booths but is very popular so its worth getting in quick.I love the coffee and cake from there and also the icecream sundays are unreal .The staff are all very friendly but can be quite slow bringing the food out .

Dylans beef burger all the way! Sometimes the bread is a little too crusty for me but still quality.

The food that we got from Dylans was delicious .....BUT

we had to wait for an eternity for what was a pretty simple order. I suspect that they lost our order and didn't get started on it until reminded.

They seem pre-occupied with lots of business lunch orders which have priority (and this was at 1:30pm)

The price was just a bit high for what we received.

Dylans was always a favourite place of mine when I was younger, but I have to say, it still rates as one of my favourite family dining places. We quite often pop in for a quick family dinner, choosing kids meals and burgers and chips for under $60 including drinks for the 4 of us. The burgers are always tasty and have a generous serve of chips. There are plenty of other options though as well if youi want something a bit fancier, and there are also some great cakes on offer. They have some booth seating too if you are lucky enough to get one, as they are very popular! They also do very reasonably priced take aways. The only downside is that you can't book, you just have to wait if there are no tables available, but they do usually get you in quite quickly. Highly recommended!

Dylans Cafe looks small from the outside but is quite extended inside, with several booths in the back and a quaint wooden bench beside the front counter, for takeaway customers. I bought a large mocha (4.50) and a Dylans Burger (13.60). All the burgers come with chips, which is great and very affordable I think for the cafe and its settings. My friends meals and drink cost them less than $20 as well. This was for lunch; for dinner I think the menu meals are larger so a bit more expensive. I'm new to Albany and it was my first time to Dylans, its supposed to be a cafe with a family atmosphere, and there were families and groups inside. Their service was friendly and modern. The waiter records your order and you pay after you have finished, like a restaurant. We dined in and were offered a glass of water when we sat down. The main counter and kitchen etc takes up about half the room inside the cafe and because I sat on a table rather than in a booth, it did seem a bit cramped (not to contradict my first statement about it being bigger than it looks from the outside). Overall I really enjoyed eating at Dylans, it is a farsight healthier and more unique than Dome Cafes which I tended to frequent in Perth. Love, Paul.

This is a regular haunt in Albany, one of the few cafes that is always busy. The food is good, the menu doesn't change very often but it doens't need too as it has a wide variety and quality is always good.

I have had lunch at Dylan's nearly every week for over 20 years. I've been so often that the staff greet me by name. There is a range of food for all appetites. It's a very convenient place to eat with small children as they have their own toilets, and the booths at the back are good for feeding babies! It also has great coffee, including the BEST Iced Coffee, and a yummy selection of cakes. (I go into town from my farm once a week to shop)

I love Dylans. The food is amazing! The prices are good and the meals are to a high standard with decent size servings. The service is good and you are never left waiting for long, the staff always ensure that you are happy with your meal. They are also open 7 days per week which is great

Approximate cost: $18-25
