A particular "senior vet" literally scoffed and laughed at reasonable questions. Her behaviour regularly hit bizarrely and amazingly rude, prolonged lows without provocation. She was afraid to touch a small, old, unwell but cranky female cat. It often felt like stepping over a line to expect a modicum of care and effort.

I would've written off the attitude as a bad day but this occurred over some span of time and several encounters. A challenging time was made harder and more uncertain than it should've been and I've since wondered if my new vet could've significantly changed the course for my animal had she been entrusted to them instead. It has been night and day between vets.

The few other staff along the way ranged from okay to great.

Having a sick animal that is part of the family is hard enough but the team at Duncan McGinness Vet surgery is fantastic.

The staff are very professional but also offer that special touch. They know how stressful it is to loose a loved one and that is normally what a pet is to a family.

The staff were more than comforting to us and helped when it came time for payments.

We have been back numerous times with our animals and each time the team remember who you are. The smile as you enter the surgery lets you know no matter the outcome or what you are there for is the most important thing at the time.

The surgery is always clean and clutter free. they staff always have a smile and a very professional attitude.
