Excellent service and great help and ideas with furniture solutions to maximise storage. Suzanne was extremely helpful. The furniture was ready sooner than expected.
David and his fellow worker (I am really sorry that I have forgotten his name) were fantastic when delivering and installing the furniture. They both went above and beyond with the installation.
Thank you so much, the final product looks stunning and my daughter loves her new room. She's 23 and her furnituresuits her exactly - Dream World is not just for kids furniture.

I am absolutely blown away with the service and turn around time for my girls custom made beds. The design process was amazing with both Suzanne and Karl making sure it was the perfect design and fit for 2 very different sized rooms. Suzanne was excellent at getting back to me with time frames and I got my beds 3 weeks after ordering. I was nervous to order after seeing some of the reviews but I couldn’t be any more happier with the whole process. The quality is absolutely amazing and not comparable with other options on the market.

I read all the other reviews on here and was almost scared away from buying from Dream World. I ended up purchasing a bunk bed for my daughter (double on bottom, single up top) and yes it did take a long time to make but it was worth the wait. The quality of the bed, the strength and the look is outstanding. As long as you leave yourself plenty of time and you don't want the bed yesterday, I would highly recommend their beds. I shopped around for weeks looking at all the bunks and by far these were superior and you can custom make the design to suit your tastes. Yes they are more expensive than others but you get what you pay for and the bed is so sturdy and doesn't move (unlike all the others that creak and rock). We couldn't be happier with the bed and are pleased to support Australian made.

We ordered a bed in mid December and still don't have it (mid March). Everytime I call because a delivery date promise has not been met it is one excuse after another. Even worse is the way Susanne (owner) always blames the factory, like it's not her fault - and then says she'll ask them tomorrow when she calls in. Really? They don't have a phone? Don't give these people your money!

Do not buy from Dreamworld furniture. Empty promises, incorrect orders and excuses. The lack of customer service is a disgrace and the lady who owns it is extremely rude and says everything is not her fault. I felt like I had to school her on how to deal with her customers and how she managed her staff as she was so incompetent. 4 months later I am still waiting for my daughters bed to be delivered after chasing them for the last 6 weeks!!! Goods way too expensive for the lack of service and incorrect things delivered.

I purchased a mandy bed and a bed side table from a beautiful young lady. She was friendly and really understood my needs as a mother , due to her having her own kids.
The bed was very well made and i would recommend anyone to go there.

I purchased a King Single bed and bedside table for my daughter room just before Christmas last year. At the time of purchasing, their services were very good and I expected the quality should be good as their prices not cheap.
However, we just got the delivery recently because they could not do the delivery on Wednesday which my wife day off at home. Once delivered, we could not stay at my daughter room because of the strong smell from the paint. We opened the door and windows everyday since delivered, and the smell is still there. Then we contacted them reporting this issue and first they said that we held up the delivery because we only at home on Wednesday. Second they said that they could not smell anything even their one guy specialist on paint on site.
I have no choice which hopefully solving this issue through VCAT. What a waste we paid high money but we cannot use.

Sorry you had to go through this. I had huge problems with them too. They are really nice when you first go in and buy from them. But after you pay, they suddenly become very unprofessional, never take any responsibility for being late/errors they have made/any issues they incur. It is terrible, because we are willing to pay good money for a good product and people like this are allowed to operate a business. Disgusting!!

Right at this moment, my daughter has refused to use the furniture due to unexpected strong smell. When I called them again, they said that they could not find the strong smell and nothing they can do. In fact every my friend could pick up the strong smell. What can I do?

DO NOT purchase anything from Dreamworld Furniture. In fact, ABSOLUTELY AVOID THIS PLACE. What was supposed to be a simple purchase of a single bed turned into a painful 6 months.

The purchased item delivered did not match what was shown to me in the show room. My single bed arrived with a huge gap between the 2 x under drawers, not at all what was shown to me in the show room

I paid over $1500 for this bed and mattress, which is quite a lot of money. So I would expect that what I was promised in the showroom, and I what I paid for, would be what I got. I understand mistakes can be made with the factory and I understand delays can be made.

The staff and owner could have easily rectified this and handled it a lot better however they took no responsibility, they lied to me about things they promised, never told me when items would be late (and the items would be late by weeks) and I was always the one who had to call them to find out what was happening. They made me feel like I was bothering them, and were at times rude, when I queried why my bed, and eventually drawers, had not been delivered or delivered incorrectly. Yes, the bed and drawers which I had paid in full.

When I queried why my drawers were late I was yelled at by the owner. She said it was not her fault the drawers were late and it was not her fault that all her staff took the day off and left her alone in the shop. She was so rude and loud that I had to hang up the phone.

Here is a small sample of my experience with Dreamworld furniture.

* They told me bed would be ready end of Jan, even though factory closes in Christmas/New Year period but they said bed will still be ready. End of January, I heard nothing so rang them and they said that bed not ready. Was told that they never said bed would be ready by end of Jan as factory is closed during Christmas/New Year

* Bed delivered end of Feb and 2 under drawers did not fit properly. There was a 15cm gap between the drawers. I went into showroom and showed the owner a photo and she immediately said "that looks wrong" and said there is not supposed to be a gap that big and showed me an example on the showroom floor where the gap was only 4cm. She organised to get me 2 new drawers made. However later I was told that the 2 drawers delivered originally were the "standard" size and that the 15cm gap was how it was supposed be. They said I had ordered a "non standard" larger size and they are doing me a favour by re-making it. When I ordered the drawers I was never told they were "non standard", even my invoice doesn't mention this. The salesman even insisted that I drop the original drawers off to them to swap with the "larger" drawers (this is laughable as they were the ones who made the mistake. Even the owner admitted the gap was wrong).

* They said drawers would be ready in 1 week and I questioned this because of what happened with the bed. They said yes it will be ready in a week and they will give me a call. 3 weeks later I hadn't heard from them and called to query. The owner said the drawers were done but in the wrong colour so they had to respray. I said "I understand that but it would be nice if someone called me to update me as the same thing happened with the bed". The owner took no responsibility for it being late, did not apologise and even had the nerve to say "it's only 3 weeks late". The salesman on the other hand just lied and said he "never promised the drawers would be ready in 1 week".

I eventually got the correct bed, mattress and underdrawers. But instead of 6 weeks this saga went on for 6 months. And this was only because I had to chase them every time. Save yourself the drama, go and purchase somewhere else. The owner had no interest in dealing with me once she received the money for the bed.

I have no interest in doing business with people like this and will warn others to stay away from them.

Like the other reviewer said, this may not necessarily be the cheapest furniture shop around...probably on the expensive side however ordering and delivery was quick and a relatively painless process - except on your wallet :)
