My first visit was to discuss two trigger fingers about 10 minutes at a cost $270. I was told that for the operation I would be out of pocket to the tune of $500 plus the HCF fee. Not bad for ten minutes work for the operation. After the surgery I was told to come to the Clinic in a week to get it looked at, at another cost of $140 . This was to change a bandage and tell me how to move my fingers, included in the price was a finger mould costing $16. I did query the cost and stated it was like going to the dentist and having someone tell you how to brush your teeth (at a cost) Today I again made a visit to get the stitches removed. I informed the receptionist that I didn't need therapy and only needed the stitches taken out. I also stated this to the therapist who took the stitches out but again I was made to pay a fee of $95 I feel totally ripped of and I was not informed at the extra cost that would applied. I thought the stitches being removed would be classed as post op and no charge.
