I have been a patient for over 20 years. I was impressed and chose to go with Dr Lawrence for my specialist care from day one as he was wiling to listen and answer any question to allay my fears. Over the years he has never changed and his response is always "ask me anything". Kind, compassionate, and extremely talented surgeon. Lovely and helpful support staff make for a un-stressfull appointment always. Highly recommended.

I am very grateful to have had such a wise, skilled and experienced obstetrician care for me throughout my pregnancy and birth. I left every antenatal appointment feeling confident and reassured that my baby and I were in the safest hands with Dr Lawrence. During my labour Dr Lawrence made regular check in’s to assess my progress and make sure baby and I were doing well. I’ll never forget the moment Dr Lawrence delivered my baby safely into my arms, healthy pink and screaming! Highly recommend!!

I saw Tony when I was pregnant and he was very good. Tony is Kind and reassuring in stressful times. However the reception staff are quite rude and abrupt. I would often hear them talking about patients which was disgusting and very unprofessional. Keep up the good work Tony, but definitely have a word with your reception staff!

I recentlt saw Dr Lawrence for some problems that needed some repairs. Dr Lawrence was absolutely fantastic giving me all the information I needed to make my surgery as easy and less painful as possible. I really can't thank Dr Lawrence enough. The surgery went really well and he was very sympathetic and my comfort was one of he's top priorities. I would happily recommend Dr Lawrence for he's expertise

Dr A. Lawrence virtually saved my life. I had all sorts of procedures & investigations done by unprofessional & experienced gynaecologists in the country, called a Hypochondriac & left to live in pain. He discovered my endometriosis & stomach full of bowel adhesions & gave me my life back in the 90s. Who cares about the admin support staff-not me! He is thorough, a master & knows his specialty.
I hope he can now help my daughter :)

i can certainly confirm that Dr Lawrence is the best of best...he is very calm and gentle, thorough and to the point...very efficient and straight to the point in his approach (asks relevant questions and was able to book me for surgery very quickly)...very punctual doctor with appropriate manners and I would recommend him to any lady that has problems with fibroids and adenomyosis...regarding his receptionist, she was very nice and i didn't have any problems while interacting with her (she seems to be professional enough)...i was late 2x for my appointment approx. 10 mins (because i live in city and was caught in traffic), but Dr Lawrence and his receptionist were very understanding of that...and surgery costs were very reasonable as well...he performs in Monash Private surgical Hospital in Clayton and other hospitals as well... his details are online and clinic in Glen Waverley...my surgery with him went really well...his nurses are excellent...

I have been seeing him as I went through IVF and am now pregnant. He is very calm and experienced with a bit of a quirky bedside manner. He rushes you in and out but that is why he is punctual with appointments.
I also found the receptionists to be rude. For example, my hospital booking did not go through properly and they wouldnt make the phone call to fix it up. Also, whenever I call with a medical question regarding pregnancy, it's a hassle to get them to pass me onto Tony and they have a crack at answering the questions themselves with no medical experience.

I saw Dr Lawrence after being referred their by my local g.p. he was able to see me earlier than another surgeon could to perform my operation. The receptionist was very rude, in the sense that when I arrived she was on her mobile so i waited patiently until she was finished, I told her i wanted to pay a bill, her mobile rang again she answered it spoke for about 15 minuites talking about whether the person to whom she was talking to should buy the car or not, in the meanwhile i was still standing their waiting to pay my bill, and she knew that i was still waiting to pay, she still didnt get off the phone Id been waiting now for over 30mins to pay my bill. I ended up leaving and walking out after 45mins without paying my bill !! Not impressed by receptionist. I ended up paying by cheque and posted it in the mail. Needless to say Ive never been back to the glen waverley branch. However Dr Lawerence is great at explaining the operation in fine detail and makes you feel very comfortable in asking any questions or concerns you have regarding the operation.

A kind and genuine doctor who deals sensitively with sensitive issues. I highly recommend Tony to anyone needing assistance in his areas of expertise - he is a gem with an amazing bedside manner!
