In the interests of finding new businesses to share with my WOMO colleagues and nothing at all to do with my stomach, I decided to try this fairly new pizza place I'd driven by before, but had never had the "right" reason to stop at.

Situated in the section of Millers Road opposite a whole bunch of factories and warehouses, between the Westgate freeway and Geelong Road, you look for the round window and the bizarre tree which is bent over from being trimmed away from power lines.

It's a tiny shop really, next to another cafe, the only food around in this mainly residential area.

But the menu choices are large. There is the Traditional pizza like Margarita and Capricciosa, Meat Lovers etc, then there are what they call Classic style - Sweet Chilli Chicken, BBQ and Onion Meatlovers etc. Finally there are the Gourmet Style - Garden vegetable, Spaghetti pizza, Tuscan and more.

There are pastas - Calabresi, Pollo E Funghi etc. They also do meals with Veal Parmigiana, Warm chicken salad, chips, garlic prawns.

Tonight between us we had a Capricciosa, Margarita, Meat Lovers/Pineapple, Island Chicken and La Romana (Semi-dried tomatoes, prosciutto etc) and some garlic bread.

Traditionals are around $12, and the same for Classics, Gourmet $16.

They have gluten free base options, free delivery over $30, otherwise $3.

The bases were light and fluffy but not too thick. The flavours melded well together with particularly nice tomato paste and soft cheese as a foundation for real mushrooms and not canned. Definitely I would like to try a pasta next time or one of the spicier varieties.

Specials available like 2 pastas and a pizza for $26. Large pizzas are $10 between 5.00 and 8.00.

Open 7 nights - 5.00 pm to 11.00 pm (Sun 10.00) and lunch Wed - Fri 11.00 - 2.00 pm.

Several tables inside and TV screen and the round window is so quirky to sit next to, even though it's only a view of trucks rushing by.

Very pleasant staff and order didn't take too long to fill. Park right outside but watch out for the passing traffic, even in the evening.

A place I'll be back to now I've discovered it. For purely scientific purposes, of course.

Approximate cost: $69 for 5 pizzas and 2 garlic bread.
